Clouds of sorrow loom over Punjab, as another artist breathed his last. Punjab bodybuilder and actor Varinder Singh Ghuman passed away at the age of 47. He was renowned for setting fitness goals and for his work in movies like Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger 3,’ Pollywood film ‘Kabaddi Again,’ and more. Though an official confirmation on the cause of death is awaited, preliminary reports suggest he suffered a cardiac arrest. As the news of his demise surfaced, tributes started pouring in. From Punjab’s veteran actress Nirmal Rishi to singer Mankirt Aulakh, filmmaker Sukhminder Dhanjal, the entire community paid a tribute to the late star.
Punjabi celebrities express grief over the demise of Varinder Singh Ghuman
Filmmaker Sukhminder Chahal shared a poster of Ghuman’s Punjabi movie ‘Kabaddi Again’ and penned, “Just heard very sad news. My friend Varinder Ghuman is no more. Very nice person is not among us. Unbelievable. Rest in peace brother.”Further, Mankirt Aulakh shared two different posts. In one of the posts, he shared a series of pictures of the late star and wrote, “Alvida Vde Bai 💔R.I.P Varinder Ghuman @veervarindersinghghuman” In another post, he shared a video, saying that owing to his back injury, he couldn’t make it to Rajvir Jawanda’s funeral today, but he saw everything on television. And while he was still trying to make peace with Rajvir’s demise, he got to know that Varinder Singh Ghuman is no more. He expressed he can’t believe that just a few days ago, Varinder was sharing his videos lauding his work for flood-affected areas, and today, he posted a video for him, bidding him adios.“Another bright star is gone…The memory of actor and bodybuilder Varinder Guman will always remain alive in our rts. May God give peace to his soul. 💔🕊️,” wrote Nirmal Rishi, mourning Varinder Ghuman.
