Atlee promises a visual spectacle with Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone’s AA22 x A6: ‘It’ll be addictive to watch’ | Telugu Movie News

Atlee’s next directorial venture with Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone is already being hailed as one of the biggest upcoming Indian films. The project, tentatively titled AA22 x A6, has been the subject of immense buzz ever since its announcement — first when Allu Arjun came on board, and later when Deepika joined the cast. Now, Atlee has opened up about the film’s progress and creative vision, promising audiences a cinematic experience that will be “addictive to watch.”In an interview with India Today, the filmmaker revealed that the shoot is progressing smoothly and that he’s focused on building something grander than ever before. “The audience are really sweet and they keep pushing me every now and then. When I did Rajarani, it was a love story. They wanted me to do something greater. The love the audience give makes them expect something from me, so it is not a risk, to be very frank. I’m really enjoying the process and trying to make something that will be very new, very intriguing, and addictive to watch,” he said.
Pushing the limits of scale and storytelling
Atlee also hinted at the ambitious scope of the film, sharing that several Hollywood professionals are part of the team to help achieve the scale he envisions. “Please wait for a few months; we are working to show you something special. One thing I can assure you is that we are going to make something never seen before. We are collaborating with several Hollywood professionals. Hollywood technicians are also working on this film, and even they say it’s a very challenging project — which makes me believe we are creating something truly big,” the Jawan director added.
Allu Arjun and Deepika’s fresh pairing
Announced on Allu Arjun’s 43rd birthday in April this year, AA22 x A6 will mark his first big-screen outing after the highly anticipated Pushpa 2: The Rule. The film is said to be a sci-fi action entertainer with Deepika Padukone taking on an intense, action-oriented role. The film’s technical team includes several global heavyweights such as Academy Award winner Justin Raleigh (CEO of Fractured FX), William Wright Anderson (co-owner of Lola VFX), and VFX supervisor James Madigan, among others.
