Just days after becoming the fastest Indian bowler to take 50 Test wickets at home, Jasprit Bumrah has etched his name into the record books with another milestone. This time, he’s become the first Indian seamer to play 50 matches across formats.Having been picked in the playing XI for the second Test against the West Indies on Friday (October 10), Bumrah will play his 50th Test match to go with 89 ODIs and 75 T20Is. In all three formats he’s taken 467 wickets – 222 in Tests, 149 in ODIs and 96 in T20Is.LIVE: India vs West Indies 2nd Test Day 1In the 49 Tests played by the 31-year-old so far, he’s taken 222 wickets at an average of 19.81 with 15 fifers to his name. In the 50-over format he’s picked 149 wickets at an average of 23.55 with 96 wickets coming in the shortest format @ 17.85.Other Indians to grace this list of playing at least 50 matches across formats includes MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, R Ashwin and KL Rahul.Bumrah achieved the milestone of quickest to 50 Test wickets at home during the first Test against the West Indies at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Bumrah reached the figure in 1,747 balls during his impressive figures of 3/42.
